Chris Meloni's 'Law & Order' Spin-Off Series Delayed Until 2021

I'm so sorry, everyone. I truly hate to be the bearer of MORE bad news this year, but alas it is my job!!!!

Unfortunately for Law & Order fans who have been waiting for Chris Meloni's spin-off series to premiere this FALL, y'all will have to wait another 4-5 MONTHS as the show has been delayed until 2021.

Fans have been TOLD they would be seeing Elliot Stabler on their TV again come Fall and they were like *YAAASSSS!!*

But now, NBC has revealed their TV schedule and Mr. Meloni and his new series Law & Order: Organized Crime is nowhere to be found!

However, I supposed we shouldn't be too surprised as Chris literally told us last month the show hadn't even started filming yet!

Speaking with SiriusXM’s "The Jess Cagle Show" in July, the actor revealed that he had "yet to see a script" for the upcoming series, and that it was still up in the air as to when production would resume.

Eeep!

"You get new edicts out of New York City and New York state, and for good reason,” Chris explained.

"And then you get new rules and regulations coming out of Universal, and then from the unions. You have to service a lot of masters right now, just to make sure everybody is safe, right? What’s the new norm for shooting?"

Ah well, I guess it gives us something to look forward to in 2021?
