I know it's only August, but that does not mean I can't get excited for the most wonderful time of the year!
As someone who famously starts blasting Christmas music on November 1, I may have a good reason to start the festivities even SOONER this year as it has just been announced that QUEEN DOLLY PARTON HERSELF will be releasing a new Christmas album for the first time in 30 YEARS!
They both are sparkly, extra, and look ah-mazing in red!
So it's hard to believe our favorite songstress hasn't released a Christmas album in so SO so long!
The fans have been needing new X-mas content and what better way to bring joy to such a joyless world than with Dolly's sweet voice singing the Christmas classics?!
Dolly told the news outlet she wanted the title to be "cute and clever" and I personally think she totally nailed it!!!!
The title was, of course, inspired by the classic Christmas song "A Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives.
"I thought, ‘Why don't [...] I call it something cute and clever, like that or Deck the Halls with Boughs of Dolly, something corny like that.' "
"A Holly Dolly Christmas" is comin' to town on October 2nd!
