While The Parent Trap might've been the movie that put Lindsay on the map for many of us, she had done some modeling when she was three years old, and was featured in a soap opera called Another World for a year when she was 10.

Lindsay's father, Michael, was a Wall Street trader, and has a history of being in trouble with the law. While Lindsay's mom, Dina, is a former singer and dancer.
And all three of them have also dabbled in acting and modeling.
Michael, Jr., who also made an appearance with Lohan in The Parent Trap, Aliana, known as “Ali,” and Dakota “Cody” Lohan. Lohan is of Irish and Italian heritage, and she was reared as a Catholic.
We've seen many different hair colors on Lindsay: Brown, black, blonde, plum, and of course, ginger.
So, it may come as a surprise to some that her natural hair color is red!
But after landing the role, the writers thought Lindsay would be better suited to play a more mainstream-esque character instead, and re-wrote her character entirely because of it.

In 2016, Lindsay had reportedly been studying Islam after she was spotted by paparazzi carrying a copy of the Quran.
Later, she confirmed the reports herself and was seen wearing a hijab.
Speaking about her sexual orientation, in a 2008 interview, she said that she was not a lesbian.
But when asked if she was bisexual, she responded “Maybe. Yeah,” adding, “I don’t want to classify myself."
