I can't believe I'm even saying this.
But Kevin Spacey just compared the long list of sexual assault allegations against him to the current coronavirus pandemic, even though they share virtually nothing in common.

Kevin Spacey Compares Sexual Assault Accusations Against Him To Coronavirus
I'm sure you're most likely somewhat familiar with the sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey.
By November 2017, nearly 20 men had come forward, claiming that Kevin had made unwarranted sexual advances toward them when they were underage, dating all the way back to the '80s.
However, none of these accusations came to fruition.

Two accusers died unexpectedly amid their legal pursuits — which many found to be disturbingly convenient for Kevin.
Nonetheless, although Kevin was never held legally accountable for any of the claims against him, he has had to face the repercussions via cancel-culture.

There were far too many allegations against him for the public to ignore.
Nowdays, he doesn't have much of an acting career, and he has been labeled by many as a sexual predator.

Kevin has recently come forward to address everything.
He released a 10-minute video, essentially talking about how sorry he feels for himself.

He began by comparing himself being blacklisted in Hollywood to coronavirus.
He said that due to the allegations, he knows “what it feels like to suddenly be told you can’t go back to work”.
And that he knows what it's like to “suddenly find yourself in a situation you could not possibly have prepared for or anticipated it was coming.”
“I don’t think it will come as a surprise for anyone to say that my world completely changed in the fall of 2017,” he said.

“My job, many of my relationships, my standing in my own industry, were all gone in just a matter of hours".
“And so while we may have found ourselves in similar situations, albeit for very different reasons and circumstances, I still believe that some of the emotional struggles are very much the same."
Since being in quarantine, he admitted that it has been “a long time” since he's spoken to anyone.
He confessed that he had “never really stopped and looked closer” at his life until the allegations surfaced and brought his career to a sudden halt.
“All I ever wanted to do was act,” he said.
“When my career came to a grinding, screeching halt, when I was faced with the uncertainty that I might never be hired as an actor again," he said.
"I had to ask myself a question I’d never asked myself before which is, ‘If I can’t act, who am I?'”
“It’s at these kinds of moments that the most important thing to remember is that we have our health,” he continued.
“Our physical health but also our mental health. The health of our family, of our children, our parents if we’re still lucky enough to have them with us.”
He explained that he is still in the "process" of reevaluating his life.
“This is a process that will allow me to ask other questions I’d never asked."
He went on, revealing that being alienated has forced him to face things that he had long buried.
"Have conversations I’d never had. Delve into issues I’ve long avoided," he said.
"Face truths I’d kept hidden and confront traumas I’d always denied".
He concluded by encouraging viewers to find “a new part of you that’s begging to be heard.”
Well, there you have it. According to Kevin Spacey, being stuck inside due to a pandemic is similar to being canceled after being accused by numerous people of sexual assault.
