The Will & Grace reboot paid their respects to the show's former regular, Debbie Reynolds by bringing on American Horror Story actress, Billie Lourd, to play the role of her granddaughter.

Billie Lourd Played Debbie Reynolds' Granddaughter On 'Will & Grace'
In the 11 seasons that "Will & Grace" has been on TV, we've seen a few other celebrity guest stars, besides Billie Lourd.
Such as Ryan Phillippe, Demi Lovato, Jane Lynch, Madonna, Patrick Dempsey, Alec Baldwin, Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears, Demi Moore, and Matt Damon, to name a few.
Debbie Reynolds' presence was certainly felt on Thursday evening's episode of "Will & Grace".
American Horror Story actress, Billie Lourd, made an appearance, playing the role of Debbie's granddaughter — as she was IRL.
As you may already know, Debbie was a main cast member in the original series.
She played the role of Grace's mom, Bobbi, for the show's first eight seasons.
Unfortunately, she passed away in December 2016, before the show was relaunched in 2017.
But in a thoughtful nod to her character, the show brought on Bobbi's granddaughter, and the daughter of Grace's sister, Fiona.
Will and Grace "decide to intervene when they discover Grace’s niece is dating a bisexual man," the episode's description reads.
Sounds like an episode you do not want to miss!
This wasn't the first time that Billie has paid tribute to a family member on-screen.
In January, Billie was in a flashback scene in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, a movie franchise partly made famous by her late mother, Carrie Fisher.
Just before the episode aired, Eric McCormack tweeted a photo of himself, Billie, and Debra Messing, holding a photo of Debbie.
“We miss you, Debbie,” the caption reads.
Fans were quickly praising Billie's performance after Thursday night's episode wrapped up.
This person applauded Billie's acting skills for being able to hold it together so well under the obvious emotional circumstances.
Others were simply fascianted that Billie was able to play Debbie's fictional granddaughter, as she is her actual granddaughter.
I'm sure it probably made the job much easier for her to do!
Above all else, fans were understandably touched by the episode.
It was emotional, uplifting, and absolutely gutting all at the same time.
Easily one of Will & Grace's best episodes.
It was practically bringing viewers to tears!
Billie most definitely did the role justice.
I am sure that her grandmother would be so proud of her!
This fan quoted Billie saying that although her mother and grandmother are no longer with us, she won't let them be forgotten.
I'm not crying, you're crying!
Another fan tweeted a few photos from Billie's time on the show.
Side note: She is so adorable, and no doubt destined to be a star like her mom and grandma!
Anyway, if you haven't had a chance to catch the episode yet, you have no idea what you're missing.
It was a beautiful, inspired, and tasteful way to show their appreciation for the show's former star.
