One of the most terrifying things that can happen to a person is being stranded in an unfamiliar city, with no way to contact any of your loved ones. Unfortunately for TikToker Becca Moore (@becccamooore), this happened after she was robbed at Coachella.

Not long after the ordeal, she posted a TikTok to tell the story of how she was stranded, and the Uber driver who saved her.

She starts out the video by talking about how she'd attended Coachella back in April.

She was talking to a guy she met at the event and when she turned around, a friend heard him say, "I'm gonna make this girl talk to me tomorrow. I'm gonna steal her stuff."

And, for whatever reason, he actually did.

After stealing her phone, credit card, and the key to her rental car, she was literally "stranded in a random California city the next day," with no money or a way to contact anyone she knew.

"The hotel staff ended up paying for an Uber for me to get to a Sprint store so I could get a new phone."

Becca also mentions that the rental car got towed, since she didn't have keys for it.

But at this point, she meets Raul, the driver who basically saved her life.

"When the Uber driver picked me up he was like, 'What happened to you?' And I was like, 'Eh, I just got robbed.' And he was like, 'Not on my watch,'" Becca says.

So he took her to the Sprint store and walked in with her.

When Raul decided they weren't doing enough to help, he took Becca to the police station and filled out a police report for her.

The police helped them find the Airbnb of Becca's robber, but they didn't find the phone there.

The police pretty much washed their hands of the situation, but Raul decided to keep helping Becca. After a pit stop to get margaritas, of course.

According to Raul, there was still a lot that could be done.

They went back to the Airbnb and finally found the phone, which the robber had abandoned on the gate "when he probably realized [Becca] was gonna call the cops."

The video has since amassed over 3.5 million views.

Becca was forever grateful for Raul, the man who spent eight hours helping her find her phone, and asked for nothing in return.

But while they were having margaritas, Becca learned that Raul was working as a driver to support his daughter and father, who were both battling cancer.

Becca turned to the internet to help raise money for Raul and his family.

In a follow-up TikTok, Becca talked more about Raul's family's situation, and how she wanted to raise money so that his daughter could have a normal prom experience.

She also delivered the unfortunate news that his father had passed away the morning of April 29th.

But in amazing news, Becca's GoFundMe for the family had surpassed its original goal.

She had originally set the goal to $3k, but it ended up reaching over $50k in one day. In the span of four days, it ended up raising $144k.

"Raul ended his Uber shift that morning to spend his day helping me, expecting nothing in return," she said in her video.

"When I was in the car with him it seemed like we were both so focused on my situation... and he completely glazed over the fact that his daughter and his dad were the ones that needed help."
