People all over the world have begun to share their support for those in Ukraine being affected by this situation as well as Ukrainians all over the world in solidarity, including on Saturday, at a soccer game in Portugal as the audience showed support for a member of Lisbon's Benfica team.

During a soccer match on February 26th, Ukrainian player Roman Yaremchuk was brought in for his Lisbon team as a substitution and was given the captain's armband.
