Who here is planning a trip to Hawaii? I've always wanted to go there. Sadly, I'm not going any time soon. But if you are, let me ask you this: are you a fan of McDonald's? Well, I have awesome news for you.

Did you know that there are items on the McDonald's menu that you can only get in Hawaii? Oh, yes, apparently, that's true indeed. So let's take a look at some of them now. Shall we?

Who knew there were specialty items at McDonald's stores in Hawaii?

Is that right? Surprisingly yes. I know what you're thinking. How is that possible? I, too, thought that when you go to McDonald's all over the world, you will see all the same menu items. But that's not the case.

Especially when you're in Hawaii, hehe.

The McDonald's stores there have special items you can't find anywhere else. So what are they? Well, let me tell you. For example, in Hawaii, you can get a platter of spam, rice, and eggs. Of course, why not? After all, Hawaii has become known for its love of spam.

Okay, you're not going to convert me into eating that.

No, thank you. The lady who tried this when she was visiting Hawaii with her family gave it an 8/10 rating. Hmm, I guess that isn't too bad. So if you're a fan of spam or any of other canned hams, it's worth trying when you're in Hawaii.

Let's see what else she tried.

Next up is the Haupia pie or coconut pudding pie. Apparently, it's a fried coconut pie. It's actually a popular item in Hawaii so perhaps that's why they serve it instead of the typical apple pie or strawberry and crème pie.

Hmm, I don't know what that actually is, but it looks interesting.

Would you try it? The lady who did only gave it a 6/10, so I don't know. I guess try it at your own risk. If you do, come back and tell me what you thought of it, okay?

As it turns out, there are other items you can get.

Sometimes when you're lucky, you can buy fresh pineapple slices when at McDonald's in Hawaii. But apparently, it's only a limited-time item, so good luck finding it. Oh well!

Check this out.

Another item that seems to be elusive is the McTeri Delux. It's a flavor-filled burger whose patty is sauced in a salty and sweet teriyaki sauce (a Japanese marinade made of soy and sugar and rice wine). However, you may not find it on the menu as it seems to come and go.

Now, let's find out the final item on the list.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Saimin. It's the oddest item on the Hawaiian McDonald's menu? Why? It's because this dish is basically just noodles in a soup. It's also quite expensive for what it is. Oh yeah, it has some herbs and fish cake in there and seaweed. For $3.39 and only 240 calories, you'll probably still be hungry after eating this small dish.

So, let me ask you?

What do you think of these McDonald's menu items you can only get in Hawaii? Would you try any of them? Or do you think they're not worth the hype? Honestly, none of them appeal too much to me, but to each their own.
