There is a stereotype in many marriages and relationships that men are incapable of doing things on their own.
This notion comes from the idea that whenever women ask them to do something small or simple, they can’t seem to get it done or do it right. It’s hard to ever get husbands or boyfriends to do what we ask when we ask them to when they can hardly take care of themselves.

Even though some men can take care of themselves, women have to step in.
Many women are also “just in case” kind of girlfriends and wives and want to make sure everything is a-okay before they go.
Sometimes, we go a little crazy and do things that we definitely shouldn’t do—which can be mildly embarrassing for our significant others.
One wife proved this to be true after sharing a recent video on TikTok.
Brinlee Miles shared a video with which she decided to help her husband out with a trip to the dermatologist.
Her husband was being seen for some moles that he had on his chest and his back. But, she wanted to be sure that all of the moles were looked at.
Miles sent her husband with circled moles.
For all the moles that Miles wanted her husband to have checked out, she circled them with a marker.
All over his back and his stomach, she made sure to circle all of the moles, just in case they missed any.
As you can see, she didn’t miss aa spot.
All of the moles on his back were circled with a sharpie marker.
And, she made sure that she didn’t miss a mark on his back, or his chest, either. Clearly, she’s doing her homework.
When her husband returned home, he was pumped.
Her husband returned home looking pretty excited, he even had a doctor’s note with him.
But, the best part was when he took his shirt off and his wife inspected everything that was written down…by his moles.
The doctor has a sense of humor.
The doctor that her husband saw clearly has an amazing sense of humor, because they wrote everything down right on his skin, next to where the wife had written all of her circles.
Some of them were good, while others took a sample.
The dermatologist shared that the moles were good and did not need to be checked on. Some, however, needed to be sampled and also tested to be sure there was no cancer.
While it was funny and went viral on TikTok, it’s apparently not uncommon.
“I’ve been in derm for 15+ years & I’ve seen this many times! (it’s never the wife with circles, though, lol),” one person said in the comments.
Apparently, wives look out for their husbands, but not the other way around.
Some people online said they would never.
“I’d be embarrassed if my doc had to do this. u telling me as a grown man u couldn’t communicate the issue and get results from it,” one woman commented on the TikTok video.
Others relayed they would feel they were “their husband’s mother.”
Another person said that they are “making men incompetent.”
Other women in the comments said that when we do this for our husbands, we’re enabling them to be incompetent and also making them far too dependent on us women for everything.
However, some said that this is incredibly helpful.
Other commenters online said that many of them have moles on their backs that they can’t see, so if someone can help them out and circle things, it would make things much easier at the doctor.
