Orange juice and champagne go together like peanut butter and jelly . In other words, perfection!
But orange juice and espresso? Well, that sounds about as appetizing as drinking orange juice after you brush your teeth … or does it?
A new trend is going around TikTok (of course) that involves making an orange juice espresso drink and, apparently, it tastes better than it sounds .
We’ve seen a LOT of TikToker’s do weird things with coffee.

Remember when #whippedcoffee became the biggest thing on the app at the start of the pandemic?
Bored with the traditional way to drink their morning brew, people started trying the South Korean version.
It involves mixing coffee, hot water, sugar, and whipped cream together.
Do this until the coffee becomes, well, whipped, and then dollop it over your dairy of choice and some ice.
If you thought that was out of the ordinary, hold your spoons. This next drink is Mcdonald’s fries coffee.
Eyebrows were seriously raised when user @whathowtry blended McDonald’s fries into a soft powder that somehow resembled “coffee grounds.”

From there, he took the fries and placed them into a French press, and then brewed himself a cup of coffee.
Even though the experimental creator gave it a 10/10, people were *not* McLovin’ in.
“This should be illegal,” one wrote. “There’s no way that tasted good…” added another.
We can certainly live without seeing another foam mustache from a McDonald’s fries coffee, thanks.
Brunch lovers might be more on board with this next concoction: orange juice espresso!

This involves taking ice, orange juice, and a fresh shot of espresso and swirling it all together. This was shared on Tiktok by TikTok user, @bundaddy .
“I have not seen one person who likes espresso and orange juice not like them together,” she said in her viral clip.

“You think that you won’t [like it] — you will.” At first, people were hesitant – naturally so.
Replies ranged from “My brain can’t comprehend this tasting good” to “I would literally immediately shart my pants.”

There was also this gem: “But how will the people know I’m bisexual if I’m not holding an oat milk latte?” Lol.
Those with acid reflux couldn’t imagine the acidity that comes from both espresso and orange juice at once.

“legit want to try this but my reflux is scared,” a user commented. “My Heartburn says fuel me,” joked another. @bundaddy assured that it’s no more acidic than a mimosa would be.
Some brave souls did try it and, just as the TikTok user promised, they didn’t hate it!
Some even loved it. “I begrudgingly made it and it’s good. Why is it good? Can I be offended by a drink?” one wrote.
“Alright so I legit just went and did this, it’s good,” another added.

Don’t just take their word for it! SEO Editor, Allison Arnold, over at Delish also gave it a try. Instead of nightmare fuel, she found it quite good.
“While the sour smell was off-putting, it tasted… not bad,” she wrote.
“The sweetness of the orange juice paired nicely with the bitterness of the espresso. But would I drink it every day? Not quite. It was simply a bit weird .”
We’ll cheers to that!
