This was classified as “passionate love” in the film, but having screaming matches all the time actually screams “toxic.”
At the end of the day, it’s time to face facts: you’re incompatible.
When Julia sexually harassed Dale at work in *Horrible Bosses*.
So not cool. She even did inappropriate stuff to him while he was under drugs.
Then, she would threaten to ruin his life if he didn’t sleep with her.

If this was real life and your high school ex built a house for you, despite the fact that you haven’t talked or seen each other in a decade, it would require a restraining order.
When Jake gave his drunk unconscious girlfriend to a nerdy guy in *Sixteen Candles*.
Respect for women, what’s that? Jake clearly had none. Since she was unconscious, anything could have happened to her and she wouldn’t have known.
