By now, we’ve been introduced to hundreds of different skin hacks .
There’s slugging, which means slathering petroleum jelly on your skin before bed , and then 10-step Korean beauty routines that promise glass-like skin.
Now, there’s a new beauty trend that everyone’s taking part in.
Hint: it jiggles, comes in many different flavors, and just may become your new skincare routine!
If you want good skin, a solid beauty routine is a must.

There is tons of inspo for this, both on the internet and from the word-of-mouth from celebs. Like Jennifer Aniston who, at 53, is practically aging in reverse.
According to the star, her top anti-aging secrets are “water, sleep, and sunscreen.”

As a spokesperson for Aveeno, she also always lathers on moisturizer. Other pillars to her routine are working out several times per week and drinking lots of water.
Camila Cabello glow is the result of exfoliating.

“Every day I exfoliate because from the shows there’s a lot of make-up, sweat and dirt on my skin and just from being in a lot of different places – a lot of different airports – you have to really deeply clean your skin,” she told Vogue .
Want to know how Jennifer Lopez always looks as young as she does?
“The number one tip is to always get enough sleep,” Lopez told InStyle . “I can’t stress this enough. Ideally I would love to get 9 or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least 8.”
Miranda Kerr isn’t afraid to try skincare trends.

The former Victoria’s Secret model has tried a leech facial! “It’s adventurous,” Kerr told Gwyneth Paltrow at her Goop summit. “Health is wealth. They’ve been doing leech therapy for thousands of years.”
We have a feeling that Miranda would like this next trend: jello skin.
This unique term was coined by skincare influencer Ava Lee in 2021.
She was inspired by celebrity facialist, Lord Gavin McLeod Valentine who works with Kate Moss and Rosalía.
When Ava saw Valentine, he was impressed with how plump and elastic her skin was.

This has to do with the amount of collagen in her body. In case you don’t know what this is, let’s have a quick lesson.
Collagen is the body’s most abundant protein.

It’s responsible for a long list of things, such as making your bones denser and slowing down the aging process.
The problem is that the body starts to lose collagen starting around the age of 25, although this varies.
The less collagen your body has, the more your skin will lose its elasticity.

This is what keeps skin firm and supple.
Since this is essential to your skin looking young and radiant, Lee created a whole series on TikTok to help users.
“I want my skin to be as elastic and bouncy as jello or rice cakes,” she said in a video of herself receiving a facial.

Confused? She explained what this means: “Everytime you move it out of place, it should bounce back immediately,” she said.
“This is what I mean by jello skin,” Lee says as a clip showed her squeezing a rice cake.
Each time the facialist moved her skin, it bounced right back into place.
Keep in mind that achieving results like this doesn’t just happen overnight.
The results are sustained over time by making some simple changes.

Since good skin comes from the inside out, Lee explained how important drinking water is.
It improves the skin tone by flushing out toxins and promotes a healthier gut, which has a direct connection to the skin.
You want to pair this with a good hylaronic acid.

This is a humectant that works by drawing and retaining moisture in your skin. It’s also a good thing for those with oily skin to take, as it helps to balance the production of sebum (the body’s natural oil).
Lee even shared what she eats in a day to attain jello skin.
She loves strawberries, avocado toast, kimchi and a salad bowl. She even leaves room for some indulgences, like matcha latte and vegan carrot cake! This just goes to show that even skincare takes #balance.
Since her mom has her own jello skin, she shared her mom’s routine.
This includes taking a daily collagen (she uses a powder that she mixes into her morning yogurt), wearing suncreen (she applies it for like five minutes), and exercising.
