Millie Bobby Brown Apologizes After Fans Call Her Out For Bizarre Skincare Routine Video

Millie Bobby Brown may be 15, but that doesn't make her immune from a social media scandal.

The Stranger Things actress ended up apologizing to fans after she was called her out for her bizarre skincare routine video.

In case you missed the exciting news, Millie Bobby Brown launched her own skincare line earlier this month.

She told People that she created it as a way for her generation to have a good skincare routine.

“Beauty and skincare is always evolving, and Florence is going to grow with [it], and a lot of other people like me."

“It’s going to create a family. I’m really excited for Generation Z to evolve, and for my brand to evolve with it.”

Her line features several facial products that people can't wait to get their hands on.

This includes "Zero Chill" facial mist, a "Mind-Glowing" pink peel-off facial mask, and "Like a Light" skin tint.

The "Stranger Things" actress even recently uploaded a video tutorial of her using the products.

In it, she uses five products from the line: Zero Chill Face Mist, Get That Grime Face Scrub, Clean Magic Face Wash, Dreamy Dew Moisturizer, and Glow Yeah Lip Oil.

Problem is, none of these products were actually used in the video ... as fans quickly pointed out.

She didn't even use water when she rubbed her hands together to "lather" up more product.

Whenever she would say, "Okay so I just wiped that off," her makeup was still be intact.

So yeah, nothing had changed at all, and fans took notice.

As cringe-worthy as it was, we've got to hand it to her: she did do a pretty compelling job at pretending to wash her face.

But without water, the performance was akin to the cast of the Big Bang Theory pretending that they're actually eating.

Soon, the bizarre video led to tons of confused comments.

"I’m in tears Millie Bobby Brown did a skincare demo using her brands products WITHOUT ACTUALLY USING THEM LOOOOOOL," someone wrote.

It's even stressing some fans out!

"Millie Bobby Brown’s skin care routine video is still ending me. Why is she so silly?? What kind of reception did she expect??"

Some fans even compared her tutorial to the skincare vid Kylie posted months earlier.

The beauty mogul had come under fire for washing her skin too quickly with her Kylie Skin products.

When Kylie wiped her face with a towel, fans couldn't help but notice all of the foundation still over her face.

Naturally, the comments were unforgiving:

"Imagine buying face wash from someone who doesn't even know how to wash their face properly," one Twitter user wrote.

Due to all of the drama, Millie ended up apologizing to fans for pretending to apply her skincare line.

She took to her Instagram to share her thoughts on the matter.

"I’m still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better — I’m not an expert,” she began.

“I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that’s not what was conveyed."

She continued: “I understand, I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too!”

The comments on the image were disabled so fans were unable to share their thoughts on her apology.

Whether fans can forgive her for this or not, let's not forget that she's 15!

When we were 15, we weren't perfect. We were still overdoing it on eyeliner and wearing blue eyeshadow.

So lets all chill, K?
