Hollywood has no shortage of available talent at its disposal, yet sometimes it can feel as if studios are in a rut. Time and time again, they seem to cast the same actors to play the same part.

Recently, I stumbled upon a subreddit of like-minded individuals who are of the same opinion: we need a changing of the guard. So have a look below and check out these 15 actors that people wish would stop getting roles.

Chris Pratt

It's not that Redditor FireKraken7 thinks that Chris is a bad actor, but rather that he's being used too frequently. They've grown tired of seeing his name attached to almost every big-budget production in the past decade.

"Not saying I don’t like him, but The Rock plays the same role in literally every film." - Reddit u/dark_binniee

That may be true, but you could make the same argument about Denzel Washington, Will Smith, and it pains me to have to say this — Keanu Reeves.

Jennifer Lopez

instagram | @jlo

Redditor Forsaken_Button_9387 thinks that Jennifer Lopez should stick to what she knows best and steer clear of any future acting projects. She hasn't made a half-decent movie since the mid-'90s, and it doesn't appear like that's going to change any time soon.

Ben Affleck

Reddit user briareus08 said that they'll never watch another movie with Ben Affleck's name on the poster. I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but I would die a happy man if Ben did nothing but Batman movies for the rest of his days.

Noah Centineo

Reddit user Apprehensive-Box-641 argued that Noah has played the exact same character in three different Netflix movies. They'd be all for it if Noah tried to tackle a new genre, but as it stands today — he's beating a dead horse.

Vin Diesel

instagram | @vindiesel

Reddit user jayzedandconfused is getting sick and tired of Vin Diesel. Don't get me wrong, if I never live to see another Fast and Furious film, it will be too soon. But Vin was great in Pitch Black and in Saving Private Ryan.

Cara Delevingne

"Hollywood spent a few years trying to make her another next A-lister, then dropped her," Reddit user AdvocateSaint argued.

That may be true, but I will always have a deep appreciation for Cara's work in the phenomenally underappreciated film, Paper Towns.

Megan Fox

Reddit user Anthem_Fox feels that Megan Fox is becoming more and more "wooden" as time goes on. There's no fluidity in her performance and she can't manage to elicit any emotion whatsoever from the audience — or from herself.

Armie Hammer

Armie Hammer on 'Conan' saying "I'm not allowed to talk about it."

Reddit user panicattherestaurant can forgive and look past a lot, but when it comes to allegations of psychological abuse against women, as well as possible cannibalistic tendencies, that's where they draw the line. I couldn't agree more with this one.

Will Smith

Reddit user Monstrumologist1 and I are of the same opinion when it comes to Will Smith. It's not that he isn't talented, but that he plays the exact same character in literally every single movie he's ever been in.

Ruby Rose

Redditor reptilesni can't understand why Hollywood continues to cast the Australian model, time and time again. Not only do they feel that she's a subpar actor, but they liken her performances to being forced to watch the world's longest acting lesson.

Ryan Reynolds

instagram | @vancityreynolds

Reddit user GalacticShoestring believes that Ryan was never the same after the first Deadpool movie. Since then, it's been the same tired old meta-shtick in every single movie. However, they were a big fan of his performance in The Amityville Horror.

"Jaden Smith has the acting ability of a piece of cardboard." - Reddit u/danedebeau

I get the sense that Jaden Smith believes himself to be the Second Coming of Kanye West. As a musician, he lacks any type of artist intuition and as an actor — he just plain sucks.

Pete Davidson

Redditor PeasantCody has already had their fill of Pete Davidson. Not only do they not find his style of comedy humorous in the slightest, but they feel that he always looks strung-out every single time that you see him.

Gal Gadot

instagram | @gal_gadot

"God awful actress. She has two acting expressions, smiling and staring disapprovingly. They both look fake. And need I mention the cringiest[sic] video ever recorded where she got people singing Imagine acapella? She's the spearhead of Hollywood actors not in touch with peoples' perception[sic] of them." - Reddit u/aasmund

"Liam Neeson's agent needs to get him roles that don't involve a gun, or being a widower." - Reddit u/Abdul_Exhaust

Liam Neeson saying "I will have my revenge."
Giphy

Come on, there aren't that many movies where Liam Neeson players a widower — aside from The Grey, Love Actually, Batman Begins... OK, I'm starting to see your point.

Lena Dunham

instagram | @lenadunham

Reddit user MrTumorI has had their fill of the one-dimensional actress, Lena Dunham. In their opinion, Lena is the type of person who's always ready to offer up the answer to a question that nobody asked in the first place.

Gwyneth Paltrow

"I feel like our culture at large is just sleeping hard on the fact that Gwyneth Paltrow is an unpleasant, gross, unstable lunatic running a pseudoscience scam cult. And Hollywood is basically enabling that." - Reddit u/vagabond_

Ezra Miller

Giphy

Ezra Miller once had a promising career ahead of them. Now, the once-budding young star has been mired in what seems like a never-ending list of controversies. They've recently made an apology for their bizarre behavior, but will it be enough?

Amber Heard

At one point in time, it appeared as if Amber was being groomed to become Hollywood's next leading lady. But after an incredibly messy and public defamation trial with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, it seems unlikely that Amber will ever work again.

Jared Leto

Of all the actors named in this thread, nobody's name came up more frequently than Jared Leto. It seems that the majority of moviegoing audiences find his method tactics to be over the top, and his behavior in his personal life strikes them as creepy.
