When planning a wedding , many people try to budget as much as possible. Wedding costs can blow up right before our very eyes when we put everything together. At the end of the day, and at the end of wedding planning, some people go into debt just to have a nice, lavish party to entertain their friends and family .
Having to cater to an entire party of people is costly.

No matter which way you look at it, having to feed and provide for an entire party will cost you a pretty penny. So much goes into a wedding—especially the food.
The food is usually what costs the most.

When people plan a wedding, they are often paying “per plate.” This means each person is charged for their plate or, what they will have at the wedding. Prices can sometimes be over $200 per person.
Nowadays, brides are always looking to cut corners.

In order to make things easier on their bank accounts, brides are always looking to cut corners and make things a little easier on them. Many brides tend to “do it yourself” for many wedding things.
Decorations and favors are easy to DIY.

Decorations for weddings like centerpieces and signs, as well as wedding favors, are pretty easy for brides and friends to DIY. You can do a whole lot with a good crafts store and a glue gun.
Not many people decide to DIY the wedding food, though.

Wedding food is something everyone talks about, so it’s definitely something most brides want to have professionally done. However, there are some brides who choose to get creative with their food, as well.
Recently, Reddit users have been pretty up in arms over one bride’s decision to DIY all of her food.

Reposted on Reddit from someone’s Facebook page, the bride shared she was on “day three” of her “wedding food prep.” The food included 30 pounds of pasta salad inside an inflatable kiddie pool.
I have…so many questions.

On the one hand, I have always dreamed of a pool of pasta. On the other hand, this makes me very uncomfortable and also a bit nauseous to see an entire pool filled with pasta and no fridge in sight.
Reddit users felt pretty much the same.

One Reddit user pointed out that if this way day three of meal prep, that may mean today is not the wedding day, and all of the pasta salad needs to be kept cool in the fridge. This entire pool is about to go bad—quick.
Many said it also looked unsanitary.

Other Reddit users said this was a germ pool and a surefire way for everyone to get sick or even get food poisoning. “This looks so unsanitary. Yuck. Just get like 10 large storage containers/serving trays from the dollar store you didn’t have to do this,” shared Zmiester09 .
Some said they hoped her wedding guest saw this photo.

Commenters all said they hoped that someone online would see the photo and then would not want to go to the wedding or eat the pasta salad served at the wedding.
Others wanted to know just how many people were coming to this woman’s wedding.

“My wife and I just had 50 people at our wedding and that felt like a lot. I can’t imagine how many people would come to this wedding for them to make that much,” questioned obligatorymeltdown .
