TikToker’s Angry Video At Barista Ignoring Delivery Instructions Provokes Backlash

Baristas can experience a lot of strange requests when they are working, and more often than not these strange requests can appear when you are in the middle of a pretty big rush.

Such a moment happened to one Starbucks barista recently — however, when the woman making the request uploaded a video to TikTok, the public were somewhat incensed.

Coffee is often considered the lifeblood of many students' day-to-day existence.

This is certainly true for one TikTok user who goes by the name @dahgari.

The woman ordered an iced double shot white mocha from Starbucks through a delivery app, this allowed her to put in a little request for the employees.

In her instructions, the woman wrote, "I'm studying for a hard exam, can you please write something that makes me happy?"

She then videoed herself opening her Starbucks delivery, and was shocked to find that there was no delightful little note on her iced double shot white mocha.

The comments were quickly flooded with people sharing their thoughts on the request.

"Their job isn't to decorate your cup. You realise that sometimes there's a rush and they're making drinks non-stop? Their job is to make your coffee," wrote one individual.

Another barista also weighed in adding, "I work in a coffee shop too. We just want to finish your order asap and take another, and another, and then go home. No time for cute messages."

The video has since racked up over three and a half million views!

While most of the people in the comments were pretty irate about her video, there was one person who defended her by writing:

"If the [girl] started swearing or insulting the employees yall would be right to be upset. But all she did was make a video which was clearly a joke."

However, this did not sway the majority of the people who found the behaviour somewhat "entitled." Let us know what you make of the video, which you can watch below, in the comments.
