Dax Shepard Sucked Out Kristen Bell's Clogged Duct While Breastfeeding

The pair has two daughters, Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6. One time, the couple shared how they broke the news to their young kids that Santa Claus isn't real.

"This is going to be very controversial," Dax told Us Weekly.

"Our 5-year-old started asking questions like, 'Well, this doesn't make sense, and that doesn't make sense," he said.

"I'm like, 'You know what? This is just a fun thing we pretend while it's Christmas.'"

For a recap, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher said that they only bathe their kids when they see dirt on them.

Dax and Kristen share a similar approach. "We bathed our children every single night—prior to bed is like the routine," Dax said during a joint appearance on The View.

"And by George, we had to start saying, 'Hey, when's the last time you bathed them?'" he continued.

"I'm a big fan of waiting for the stink," added Kristen. "Once you catch a whiff, that's biology's way of letting you know you need to clean it up."

But first, a lesson on clogged ducts for anyone who's scratching their heads. This is when there's a blockage in the breast milk. It's often the result of a baby not fully draining the breast.

It's imperative to fix the clog since mothers need to feed their babies.

Kristen shared Dax's role in this on Momsplaining, a segment of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I said to my husband, 'I just need you to suck this out,'" Bell recalled.

"We could talk about it. We could be weird about it, or you could just go ahead and nurse."

"He pulled it out. He had a cup next to him," Bell explained.

"He was pulling out and spitting into this cup, and I've never been more in love in my life."

"Some things do not need to be shared," one tweeted. "I’ve never gagged at a headline before till now," added another.

There was some praise for Dax, with one writing, "not all heroes wear capes."

Kristen Cavallari also had her husband suck out her clogged duct.

The reality star has three kids with her ex, Jay Cutler. She hated breastfeeding so much that she once said she "was a slave to breastfeeding" before eventually moving on to goat formula...

"I had, like, major clogged ducts," she shared.

"Jay had to get them out for me. Sucking harder than he's ever sucked before," she continued. “And you know what? Saved my life," she later added in a confessional.
