I'm So Happy To Hear That Jason Momoa Loves To Shower

There's been a lot of confessions stinking up Hollywood lately.

More and more celebs have shared that they don't bathe often. This includes everyone from Mila Kunis to Jake Gyllenhaal.

Thankfully, there are some celebs who love to lather up, including the one and only Jason Mamoa.

Are we really surprised? He is Aquaman, after all!

We've heard a lot about celebrities and their showering habits recently.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis kicked things off when they appeared on the July 19th episode of Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast.

"I don't wash my body with soap every day," Mila shared, adding that she does wash her armpits and private areas daily.

Dax agreed, noting that you "should not be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day."

Since Dax's co-host, Monica Padman, was stunned by Mila's confession, she asked where that habit came from. "Who taught you to not wash?" she asked.

"I didn't have hot water growing up as a child so I didn't shower very much anyway," Kunis said.

In case you didn't know, she's from Ukraine. She and her family immigrated to the United States in the '90s when she was only seven years old.

Mila and Ashton's lack of showering applies to their kids, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4.

"When I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't the parent that bathed my newborns—ever," Mila said.

Instead, Ashton says that they have a unique system: "If you can see the dirt on them, clean them," he said. "Otherwise, there's no point."

When Dax and his wife, Kristen Bell, appeared on *The View*, they also shared that they don't bathe their kids regularly.

"We bathed our children every single night—prior to bed is like the routine," Dax began. "And then somehow, they just started going to sleep on their own without the routine."

"And by George, we had to start saying, 'Hey, when's the last time you bathed them?'" he continued.

"I'm a big fan of waiting for the stink," added Kristen. "Once you catch a whiff, that's biology's way of letting you know you need to clean it up."

Since then, many celebs have come out of the woodwork to share their hygiene habits.

Jake Gyllenhaal told Vanity Fair that he more or less agrees with Ashton and Mila.

"More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times. I do believe, because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that."

Then, there were the celebs who completely disagree with not showering daily.

Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson revealed that he showers three (!!) times per day!

He let the world know this when responding to a Twitter user who said that she and her co-workers all agreed that Johnson likely loves to shower.

This next celeb who loves to shower shouldn't surprise you in the slightest.

He is Aquaman, after all. Yep, it's Jason Mamoa.

And can I just say that I'm SO happy to hear this news. With looks that good and a personality so infectious, it would be a shame if he smelled.

"I'm not starting any trends. I shower, trust me," Momoa said during an interview with *Access Hollywood*.

He summed it up with this: "I'm Aquaman. I'm in the [expletive] water. Don’t worry about it. I'm Hawaiian. We got saltwater on me. We good."

I am SO glad we're saying *phew* and not *P.U.*

But just to be completely certain that he does, in fact, love to shower, we're going to need to see him in the shower. For confirmation purposes, of course.

While we wait for him to drop the towel, check out his interview with Access Hollywood!
