Woman Goes Viral After Tiling Her Bathroom With $77 Worth Of Pennies

For the past couple of years (shortly after the "passé penny" went obsolete) more and more people have been getting creative when it comes to reusing the old coins.

In a recent upcycling DIY, Lady Jordania from TikTok went viral when she filmed herself re-tiling her bathroom floor. Unable to afford brand new tiles, she used a resource she had aplenty: pennies!

She used a total of 7,700 pennies.

Gathering together as many pennies as she could find (7,700 to be precise), Lady Jordania tried her hand at the "penny floor" trend, sitting down for the tedious process of laying them out one-by-one.

The floor was then sealed with a layer of clear resin.

Sorting and separating the pennies out into distinct colors, Jordania glued the pennies to the floor, then sealed the whole thing with a layer of clear resin.

All dried and set, her new flooring is a swirl of golden-toned colors, sparkling and reflecting the bathroom lights.

The final result went viral on TikTok.
