Summer is upon us, which would normally mean endless days of fun and hopefully plenty of sun. But how can we possibly be expected to spend any time outdoors when season three of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things is going to be released on July 4?
The answer is we probably won’t be outside much at all, unless you’re a dedicated binge-watcher who will fly through all eight episodes in one day.

Two new Flavors of the Month will be hitting Baskin Robbins locations for the month of June.
Normally there’s only one flavor of the month, so two is definitely pretty strange . But if that’s not strange enough for you, get this: they’re Stranger Things flavors.
Grab a spoon and dig into some “Eleven’s Heaven”.
This particular treat is described on the website as “a waffle cone-flavored ice cream with chocolate-coated sugar cone pieces and a chocolate icing flavored ribbon.”
Eleven would definitely approve of this one. What better way to indulge in waffles than in ice cream form?
If that’s not for you, you can also give the “Upside Down Pralines” flavor a try.
This one is “chocolate ice cream with praline pecans and a chocolate-caramel flavored ribbon.”
If you choose to indulge in this particular flavor, may I suggest taking a brief moment to pay tribute to the victims of the Upside Down (here’s looking at you, Barb) whose sacrifice inspired such a tasty flavor.
Gone but never forgotten.
There are plenty of other ways Baskin Robbins is paying tribute to ‘Stranger Things’ this summer.
Locations will be offering other memorbilia like a Steve Harrington Funkopop, ’80s-inspired magnets and stickets, and one-of-a-kind Stranger Things t-shirts.
Oh, but that’s not all. You can get your fill of Stranger Things desserts with the new Upside Down Sundae, Demogorgon Sundae, a Byers’ House Lights Polar Pizza Ice Cream Treat, USS Butterscotch Quarts, and an Elevenade Freeze.
Believe it or not, the ‘Stranger Things’ train doesn’t stop there.
Baskin Robbins and Netflix have also teamed up to bring season three’s “Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Shop” to life. You know, the one we saw Steve Harrington working at in the season’s first promo clip?
An ice cream truck will be serving hungry fans some delicious scoops on the West Coast throughout the month of June.
So keep an eye out because you just might be lucky enough to get to taste the new season before it even drops. (So to speak, of course.)
