'NCIS' Fans Are Loving Christopher Lloyd's 'Powerful' Guest-Starring Role

NCIS fans got a real treat during the season 17 finale this past week.

The story told was that of Joe Smith, 95-year-old who claimed to have served on the USS Arizona on Dec. 7, 1941, which is of course, the date of the Pearl Harbour attack.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Joe, played by Christopher Lloyd, want to be interned at Pearl Harbour upon his death.

The issue was that there were no records that indicated Joe had actually served on the battleship.

The episode revolves around Gibbs and the team determining whether or not Joe was telling the truth.

Can we say DRAAAAMAAA?!

Ultimately, the team was able to discover that Joe *did* serve on the USS Arizona and was able to be interned at Pearl Harbor upon his death at the end of the episode.

The emotional episode tugged at fans heartstrings and they took to Twitter to express their admiration for Christopher Lloyd's NCIS episode.

An absolutely iconic episode with a legandary actor? Sounds like the perfect season finale to me!
