It's no surprise to any Sister Wives fan that husband Kody Brown continues to insult his first wife, Meri Brown. Having put Meri on the back burner for so many years, it's clear Kody has no attachment to his first love.
In the newly released midseason trailer for the hit TLC show, it's more clear now than ever why Meri really needs to get the heck outta there.
In the past, Kody has described his marriage to Meri as "amicable" but "estranged" as a result of her catfishing scandal back in 2015.
During this most recent season, fans watched as Meri mourned the loss of her mother and was forced to make the almost 5-hour-long drive to say goodbye alone.
In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Kody suggested that Meri move to Utah to run the inn.
Understandably, Meri took offense to this suggestion.
"I told him I didn't want to. I told him I had no intention of doing that, and he was kind of surprised."
"She's laying this burden that she has at my feet about this struggle she has about what to do with Lizzie's Heritage Inn now that her mom's passed. And I'm like, here's a solution for you."
"I'm feeling betrayed. I can't imagine what Kody's feeling," Meri says to fellow sister wife Robyn, as per ET.
Kody's first wife is clearly hurt by Christine's decision.
If that wasn't drama enough, fans watch as Kody then goes on to confirm what us Sister Wives fans have known for a long time — he doesn't consider Meri his wife.
Robyn, often referred to as Kody's "favorite wife" is seen pleading for her husband to try to repair his relationships with his other wives.
