Everyone loves a good Sunday brunch out with our friends. Brunch has become a staple of our culture in today's day and age. So much so, that restaurants have begun to make specific "Boozy Brunch" menus to keep up with the culture and times.
Many of these menus include delicious breakfast items and of course, alcohol selections—some bottomless and limitless.
Pre-fixed menus filled with omelets, benedicts, and french toast are what entice us to get out of bed, get ready, and get going. However, even more so, we are always down for the bottomless drinks that they serve up to us, too.
The best part about "bottomless brunch" is that the deal is unmatched. For a set price, you can drink your heart out for an hour and a half without stopping. It truly is something that dreams are made of.
As drinks are really expensive when you go out (that's why we have guys pay for them, duh) having a set price for unlimited drinks is really a great deal.
While bottomless brunch is our favorite bargain deal, it's also rather dangerous. Unlimted drinks are really great in theory, but if you don't watch yourself, you may end up in a bad (or funny, depending on who you ask) situation.
Lindsay Clark, 40, from North Shields, England went to brunch with her friends for a boozy, bottomless brunch which ended up in chaos as shared by the video on her friend Julie Jackson's Facebook.
In the video, Lindsay was reaching behind the booth to grab a friend's jacket for her that fell. However, she took a spill behind the booth and ended up head-first stuck behind the booth.
Legs in the air, Lindsay is stuck with her head on the floor and her legs literally in the air. Her friends could not stop laughing the entire time, but Lindsay was drunk, stuck, and howling.
For five minutes, Lindsay's friends tried to get her out of the small area of the booth but were unsuccessful. The staff at the restaurant took notice and came over to help out. Waitstaff and bouncers came over to help.
For ten minutes, the bouncers and waitstaff were pulling and pulling—trying to get her loose. But, it took quite a while to get her out, as her legs were flailing in the air
Luckily, the staff got Lindsay out of the booth and she was nothing but smiles. It sums up everyone's boozy brunch experience that we all take a spill from time to time. Except, not all of us get stuck behind a booth.
Lindsay's friend, Julie, said that she didn't expect the video of her friend to go viral. Julie said, "I didn't expect to get that reaction. Lindsay finds it hilarious, it's just a bit of a laugh. She's always wanted to be famous, although I don't think this is how she expected it to happen."
