Everything from wardobe malfunctions, award upsets, and lots of shade-throwing.

1. When Taylor and her team thought she won Album of the Year:
You can watch this a thousand times and still feel extreme cringe.
Talk about getting their hopes up!
2. When Justin tried to get his little brother to smile for the cameras:
If Justin’s little brother Jaxon was excited to accompany him at the 2016 Grammys, he sure didn’t show it.
The kid didn’t smile… like at all. This resulted in Justin going to some pretty awkward lengths to get his baby bro to smile pretty for the cameras.
3. When Adele messed up her performance and had to start over again:
Even the best singers in the world have their off days!
When Adele felt like she wasn’t giving George Michaels’s tribute enough justice, she literally swore on live television and asked for a redo.
4. When Lady Gaga was carried down the red carpet in a giant egg:
Gaga is anything if not devoted.
She lived in that egg for three days!
“It was temperature controlled,” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno .
She then “hatched” out of for her performance of “Born This Way.”

5. When Taylor called out Kanye in her speech:
Tay and Kanye got into major beef over him singing, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that [expletive] famous,” on his track “Famous.”
So when Swift won an award at the 2016 Grammys, she used her acceptance speech to fire back.
“I want to say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” she said.
The shade!
During that same speech, though, singer Tori Kelly appeared to throw some shade of her own.
So this means that while Taylor was throwing shade at Kanye with her speech, Tori was throwing shade at Taylor.
Woah. It’s like Inception up in here.
6. When Adele broke her Grammy award in half:
When Adele won the 2017 Grammy for Album of the Year, the singer celebrated in a pretty odd way: by breaking the award in half.
She reportedly did so to give half to Beyoncé, who she believed deserved to win.
7. When Lady Gaga had to endure this awkward interview with Ryan Seacrest:
Fans really felt for Gaga who had to deal with Ryan constantly shoving a microphone in her face without even asking a question.
At one point, Gaga even called Ryan out on it!
After mimicking him, she said: “You’re like answer my question, but I’m not asking one.”
Awkwardddd.
8. When Kanye jumped on stage to interrupt Beck’s win:
When Beck won Album of the Year over Beyoncè, Kanye was this close to pulling another Kanye.
Thankfully, he changed his mind. Phew .
9. When this interviewer insulted Taylor Swift right to her face:
Taylor wasn’t afraid to dish out the ultimate death glare to this interviewer who said that the singer would likely be going home with “lots of men.”

In this post-show interview, Kayne ranted for six minutes straight about Beck and everything else in between.
He said that it was “disrespectful” for Beck to accept the Grammy over Beyoncé.

Let’s face it, she’s adorable, but her dancing moves were straight-up awkward.
