NTA. SIL’s family had other options for places to stay, they knew 6 months before that you were coming to stay, yes things happen, but it was kind of rude of them to do this to you. You did nothing wrong going to stay in a hotel, if SIL & brother feel bad, it’s on them, all they had to do was let her parents or Aunt know that you were visiting and it would be better if they stayed at her sister’s house. ♀️
