A wedding day is supposed to be a wonderful, special, meaningful day that celebrates love and everything about it. Couples spend many months planning their wedding day and want to make sure that everything goes smoothly .
However, there are sometimes outside forces and things that we cannot entirely control when it comes to our wedding day. Sometimes, people are just wrong and ruin things for the bride and groom.
When you’re planning an outdoor wedding, there are tons of factors.
Outdoor weddings are beautiful, especially in the Spring and Summer, but there are tons of things that can go wrong. Rain, hail, or any other inclement type of weather can totally ruin your day.
There are also birds and bugs.
Being outside, you’re in the “home” of the birds and the bees, basically. So, if the birds and bugs come all out swinging on your wedding day, it can be rather annoying and also ruin your ceremony.
And, of course, there are just regular people who can make the day miserable.
When you’re outside, you can’t control who is around or who is going to chime in to make a disturbance. Unfortunately, there are some people who will destroy your day and not feel bad about it.
Recently, one TikTok user shared how rude a neighbor was on the wedding day of a friend.
The video showcased that the bride was about to walk down the aisle and when the song began to play, a neighbor—dubbed a “Karen”—decided to get out her lawnmower and start mowing her lawn.
She continued to mow the lawn, despite the wedding.
The TikTok user shared that the woman definitely saw the wedding and knew what was going on (she even heard the music). Despite that, she decided to continue to mow her lawn anyway—ruining the moment.
This went on throughout the entire ceremony.
The “Karen” mowing her lawn did not even stop when the ceremony began. She continued and the TikTok user said that the lawnmowing completely drowned out everything. They couldn’t even hear the bride and groom read their vows.
The TikTok user showed how close the woman was to the wedding, too.
The house was not far from where the wedding was taking place, and the lawnmower—as everyone knows—was super loud, especially because it was so close to the wedding venue.
Clearly, she knew what she was doing.
The woman looked up, seemingly aware that other people were watching her—and even filming her. It seems that she was aware of the situation but still thought it best to continue to mow her lawn, which could have easily waited until later.
The TikTok user said they even went up to her and asked her to stop.
But not surprisingly, she was not kind at all to the asker, and continued to do exactly what she wanted.
Some people just like to make other people miserable I guess!
TikTok users said they would have completely lost it.
Some commenters said they would have ended up getting an assault charge if someone had done that on their wedding day or on their friend’s wedding day. I don’t blame them, either.
Others added it’s just “miserable people” being miserable.
Everyone else said that there are some people in the world who are absolutely miserable and that there is nothing that will ever change it. Clearly, “Karen” is an example of this.
