How would you deal with a creep at the gym? Sadly, it’s all too common a problem for women — or at least it seems that way.
One woman has shared her story of interactions with a man at her local gym. Things moved from annoying to creepy to flat-out disturbing in record time, as the man gifted her framed photos of herself.
The gym is for working out.

Friendships and even romances can blossom in a gym environment. But, first and foremost, the gym is a place to exercise. Unfortunately, it’s also a spot where creeps are liable to do their creepiest creeping.
This woman shared her story.
Mackenzie, who goes by @kenziefitsta on Instagram and @liftymcthicc on TikTok, shared this Insta reel about her experience. Apparently the man at the gym decided it would be a good idea to find photos of her, frame them, and then gift them to her.
“I wanted to cry and leave,” she says bluntly.
Story time!

Mackenzie went more in-depth in a follow-up video on TikTok. As you might expect, she told the gym about her encounter. Management wasn’t able to cancel his membership outright, but they did put a “warning on his account” for whatever that’s worth.
Here’s the pic.

This framed photo would be exhibit one if this creep ever went to court, so Mackenzie has chosen to keep it for now. She explained that even though she wasn’t able to get the man’s membership cancelled, the man’s son later called the gym to tell them to cancel his dad’s membership.
The reason? The son noticed his dad had a framed photo of Mackenzie next to the bed.
Red flags all around.

The pattern — a man making unwanted comments about Mackenzie’s physique, followed by photo requests and eventually a photo gift — shows a clear escalation. Understandably, commenters were concerned and urged Mackenzie to tell the police.
She says she isn’t scared.

While the creep’s membership is now cancelled thanks to his son, Mackenzie says she wasn’t scared either way. “If something happened, I would take him out with one punch. I just refuse to live in fear of men,” she explained.
It’s still deeply creepy.

“Stay safe, ladies — and never feel bad for not being friendly to strangers,” Mackenzie advised. It’s unfortunate, but true, that stranger danger is still a thing for grown women in 2022.
