Breakups can feel like a punch to the gut, especially when they come out of nowhere. But TikToker Jennifer Reardon, aka “notjenneeree,” has cracked the code. Her viral video titled ‘Science’ explains why some women suddenly pull the plug on their relationships, even when things seem picture-perfect. It’s all about the little things!
It starts with something small, like a missing “Good Morning” text. Jennifer Reardon, the Chicago-based artist behind the video, explained in a viral TikTok.

Like, it means a lot to me if you text me good morning.’” It’s a small request, right? But when it doesn’t happen, she begins to wonder why,” she continued.
This tiny issue can quickly snowball. What begins as a small, fixable problem grows larger when it’s repeatedly ignored, Reardon shared.
“But something happened, and for whatever reason, you stopped giving her good morning texts,” she said. “Suddenly, it’s not just about the text anymore — it’s about what the lack of it represents. Now, she’s questioning if you care about her at all, and that’s a much bigger problem.”
Reardon explained that the woman may bring the issue up again, hoping the man will fix things.
“She reminds you, you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s right, I did agree to that. Okay, I will text you good morning,’” Reardon said. But if you still don’t follow through, it confirms her worst fears. The problem has now evolved from a small annoyance into something that can’t be ignored.
As these small problems stack up, she starts to pick fights over seemingly unrelated things.

Over time, these small annoyances start to make her see her partner in a different light. What she once found endearing is now a nuisance.

Once the woman reaches her breaking point, there is no looking back, Reardon shared.

When she finally decides to break up, it might seem sudden for her male counterpart. But for her, it’s been a long time coming.
“Now she’s gonna go move on with her life,” Reardon said, and at that point, there’s nothing you can do to change her mind.
He might try to convince her to stay, promising to change and finally do all the things she’s been asking for. But by this point, it’s too late.

So, while you’re left wondering why she dumped you “out of the blue,” the truth is that it was a slow process.
Those small, fixable problems weren’t fixed, and over time, they added up to something much bigger. And that’s the real reason she broke up with you.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
