Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth have just announced that they’re getting divorced. The power couple has been together since 2011 and is supposed to be celebrating their 12th anniversary today, March 26.

“We have some personal news to share,” the statement begins. “It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.”

According to the statement, the two apparently “enjoyed so many wonderful years together.” It also asserts that the 47-year-old Hello Sunshine founder and her 52-year-old beau are “moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect.”

Additionally, they say that their main priority now is their family, particularly their 10-year-old son, Tennessee.

“These matters are never easy and are extremely personal,” the statement continues. “We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”

Aside from their 10-year-old son, Reese also has two older kids, Ava (23) and Deacon (19) whom she co-parents with her ex-husband, Ryan Philippe. The two seem to have a great relationship with Jim, who has been their stepdad since they were 11 and 7, respectively.
