Hit ’80s singer Joyce Sims has passed away, according to a Facebook post made by a colleague of hers.
Though there was no cause of death announced, she is being remembered for her iconic singles and amazing voice, her talent celebrated the world over. Her family as well as fans have been posting tributes in her honor and cherishing the memories her music provided.
Legendary R&B singer Joyce Sims has passed away.

Her death was announced on Facebook by events organizer CJ Carlos, who received the information from Sims’ family.
There was no official cause of death prodived.
She was best known for her single ‘Come into My Life’.
She had a number of other successful hits such as ‘All And All’ and ‘Lifetime Love’.
“Having spoken to her immediate family tonight, it’s with a heavy heart that I post this news Joyce Sims has passed away,” Carlos wrote, “Joyce was an amazing singer-songwriter who had so many hits in the 80s.”
“My heart is broken,” wrote her sister Annette Ramsey.

“I will always remember the happy times we’ve shared, the love and support you have given me will not go in vain. I Love you Big Sis RIP.”
Another sister of hers, Debbie Sims Hall, called Sims “a beautiful soul inside and out” who “will truly be missed.”
She was due to release another album this year.
She had recently toured in the UK and was set to perform some international shows in 2023.
She is survived by her partner, Errol, and their children. May she rest in peace.
