Gerard Butler just proved he's all of that and more with his unique decision on how to celebrate his 50th birthday!
The Ugly Truth, Playing For Keeps, 300, Law Abiding Citizen, The Bounty Hunter... Do I need to go on? Gerard has accomplished so much in his life that it's almost hard to believe he's only 51 years old — at least, until you get a look at how handsome and youthful he is!
He's just revealed that he celebrated his 50th birthday in a pretty unique way!
“I’m not a birthday party guy,” Gerard said in a new interivew.
"Everybody is told with 15 minutes to spare. But this time, I actually did a big event in Costa Rica and brought loads of friends down," Gerard explained of his 50th birthday in 2019.
If there's any big birthday to celebrate in Costa Rica, the big 5-0 is probably the one!
He explained that he “brought down a lot of spiritual people, a lot of performers,” and that the entire group “did a lot of environmental stuff, like releasing sea turtles out into the ocean.”
I'm sorry, I'm trying to get past the mental picture of Gerard Butler holding little baby sea turtles, and I keep getting too distracted by the cuteness to finish writing.
This has given me some inspiration on how to celebrate my next milestone birthday! Of course, I've been turning 29 every year for a few years now, so it might be a while before that happens, but that gives me enough time to get my hands on some sea turtles.
