Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson got close while working on The Naked Gun.
A source close to the film said, “It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”

It all started while filming together
In the movie, Neeson plays Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., picking up the torch from Leslie Nielsen’s character in the original films.
Anderson plays Beth, his on-screen love interest.
Their off-set time brought them closer
Back in May, Anderson mentioned how she and Neeson clicked over their love for books and a good laugh.
She said they had a bunch of dinners with the cast, and sometimes it was just her and her assistant, plus Liam and his. She called it “professionally romantic” during filming.
A bond that feels real and lasting
In an Entertainment Weekly cover story earlier this July, Anderson said, “I think I have a friend forever in Liam.”
She added, “We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He’s a good guy.”
They showed up as a blended crew at the premiere
On July 28, both stars hit the red carpet at the New York premiere, and they brought their sons along for a group photo.
Anderson had her two boys, Brandon and Dylan. Neeson brought his sons, Micheál and Daniel.
Caught goofing around on live TV
The next morning, they stopped by the Today show and shared a funny moment where they pretended to get caught making out on live TV.
And not long before that, at the London premiere on July 22, Anderson gave Neeson a kiss on the cheek on the red carpet.
Neeson’s been pretty open about how he feels
Back in October 2024, Neeson told PEOPLE, “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with.”
He went on, “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.”
Anderson had some sweet words for Liam too
She said he’s “the perfect gentleman” and that he “brings out the best in you … with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
Reps for both Anderson and Neeson haven’t yet responded to requests for comment.
