While we can’t be friends with all our neighbors, we never expect them to become our enemies , either. But some neighbors really suck, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
The neighbors these people have to deal with have some serious chips on their shoulders. How can they get away with being among the worst of the worst?

“My neighbor throws old garbage over the fence into my yard.”
I had these neighbors when I was a kid who would throw candles over the fence and into our pool. Some people straight up think doing stuff like this is funny, which it isn’t.
“Neighbor threw an open, full bag of trash ON TOP of our shared trash can instead of taking two seconds to open the lid and throw it inside.”
They’re probably hoping that OP will finish the job and put it in the bin properly. If it were me, I’d just dump it on their front stoop.
“Kids are having fun with friends so a neighbor reported to HOA that they must be running a childcare.”
I feel like the neighbor that reported this neighbor doesn’t have kids. Or else, they’d realize that kids like to play with other kids in the neighborhood. That’s like, a thing they do.
“My neighbour’s unnecessarily bright security light to cover their 12ft driveway.”
There’s literally no reason for a light this bright. I’m surprised it hasn’t been mysteriously broken by a flying rock that came out of nowhere yet (not that I’d do that, of course).
“That one neighbour that doesn’t tend to his plot and just sprays everything with herbicides.”
Seeing a street full of nicely-manicured lawns is always such a treat. But there’s always going to be at least one house where the grass is either totally dead, or totally over grown. One bad apple and all that.
“Our neighbour has abandoned their car on the only street that leads into our block of 100 houses, blocking it from plows, and other cars.”
People who know there’s going to be snow, but still won’t move their cars, are the absolute worst. I say the plow should come by anyway, and just dump snow on the car.

I guess this is mostly the Amazon delivery person’s fault for leaving the package without notifying the homeowner. But shame on the neighbor for straight up trying to steal it.
“They way my neighbour installed his solar panels. JUST GROUP THEM TOGETHER, MAN.”
Ah yes, because there’s nothing nicer that looking out your window and seeing someone’s horribly installed solar panels all over their roof. Aren’t there rules about having eyesores on your house or lawn?
“My neighbours leave the worlds brightest lamp on 24 hours a day 7 days a week.”
That’s just absurd. There’s no reason for this light to be on 24/7. But I guess some people straight up have no self-awareness, or they forget that they have neighbors, or something.
“My neighbour thought my front lawn was an appropriate place to park.”
The fact that they couldn’t even park on their own lawn, if they really couldn’t use their driveway. Which is… the whole purpose of a driveway, by the way.
Was there a reason why they couldn’t park on the street?
“Neighbour decided my front porch needed some watering.”
This neighbor clearly didn’t look at the trajectory of their sprinklers. Now, OP is left with a very slick tripping hazard, and there isn’t even any rain in sight. What an inconsiderate move.
“Neighbour steals soil.”
According to OP, they just stole the soil for basically no reason or explanation. Out of all the things a neighbor could steal, this is definitely the strangest. But at least it wasn’t anything super expensive or anything.

This is why I don’t let my neighbors use my stuff. Half the time, they never put things back the way they found them, leaving you with a mess. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
“Neighbors have been pouring bleach, dog pee, and dirty mop water on my balcony. Today’s treat was dog puke. Building won’t do anything about it and idk who exactly it is because there are 3 floors above me.”
This is where I’d just move. Like, this isn’t worth having to go through, especially since it’s nearly impossible to tell who’s doing it.
“When the neighbors with 8 cars move your trash cans to park in front of your house.”
This neighbor deserves to have their trash/recycling pick up suspended for, like, six months. That might show them how to be a bit more considerate to the people they live next door to.
“The neighbors replaced our shared fence.”
Some neighbors really love keeping trees in their yard, even if that tree is right on the property line and causes more trouble than it’s worth. This is seriously such an eyesore.
“My neighbors driving path through our yard.”
OP gave a bit more of an explanation as to why their neighbor is driving on the lawn: “He runs a mechanic shop in the back, I think. They have a clear path on their side, but maybe it’s not big enough.”
Still pretty inconsiderate if you ask me.

This is definitely the result of a husband telling his wife he’d get to it, only to forget to actually get to it until the end of the day. Who cares if the neighbors think you’re weird for it, right?

I feel like this neighbor is playing with fire. You don’t do something like this unless you’re asking for a street-wide war (or if you’re really close to your neighbor, and you’re just playing around).

I take it this neighbor is practicing archery, and doing a bad job of it. They could stop, or go to a safer location where they don’t run the risk of destroying property or injuring someone. But that would probably be too easy.
