When it comes to royal protocol, I truly can’t blame anyone for messing it up.
There’s just so many rules, how can one be expected to remember them all?!
Especially if you’re a country singing superstar like Kacey Musgraves!

While chatting with Access Hollywood, Kacey recalled a time she met Prince Harry and *totally* broke Royal protocol.
Back in 2015, the singer met the Duke and went in for a high five.
“I gave him a little high five and apparently afterwards, the guy that works at the label was like, ‘No, no, no.’ He was like, ‘I can’t believe you gave him a high-five. That’s just unbelievable,’” she recalled.
“He’s like, ‘No, there’s a way to address the royal family, and a high-five, going up top is not the way.'”
“I was like, ‘I didn’t know. He went in for it, so whatever,’” she joked.
That’s why we love Kacey, she keeps it real!
