If you live in the United States, you’ve probably been to a few “chain restaurants ” in your lifetime.
Many of them are nationwide and are pretty standard in American culture. So much so, that many movies and TV shows use the restaurants because they are so well known and recognized. Like, H*****s for example. A restaurant that everyone across the U.S. knows.

H*****s is a chain restaurant that’s known for a few things.
Starting back in 1983, H*****s has become a sensation across the country for several reasons.
First, the restaurant chain is known for their chicken wings—which, are pretty great. But, aside from their food, they’re also known for their “H*****s Girls.”
H*****s Girls are waitresses dressed in specific uniforms.
According to the company website, “Being a H*****s Girl is an honor bestowed upon only the most entertaining, goal oriented, glamorous and charismatic women. H*****s Girls have that special gift for making every guest feel welcome. She’ll have of all kinds of opportunities – like appearing in the annual H*****s Swimsuit Calendar.”
The “H*****s Girl” aesthetic is one that’s so well known that there are even costums.
The H*****s uniform, bright orange short-shorts, and a tight, white tank top, have become so famous and well-known, that companies even sell Halloween costumes of it.
Everyone knows H*****s and everyone knows the H*****s Girls, as well.
While anyone can apply to become a H*****s Girl, not everyone gets the gig.
Anyone can apply to become a H*****s Girl, but seeing their website, photos, and social media, only one type of girl always gets the job title—slimmer, skinnier girls.
It’s far and few between that you ever see a plus-size H*****s waitress.
So, when a TikTok user made a video about a plus-size H*****s location, people were intrigued.
TikTok user @jaronfurches shared a TikTok video showcasing that “H*****s” was making a location in which they would specifically be hiring plus-size models, showcasing a photo he found online of several plus size women in the H*****s uniform.
The TikTok was more of a joke on Jaron’s part.
The TikTok was Jaron showcasing that he would be their “number one customer” if they actually did open up the “World’s First Plus-Size H*****s Location”.
However, the video launched a conversation in the comments.
One person commented saying it “didn’t sit right” with her.
One TikTok user said the fact that H*****s had to make a separate location for plus-size women didn’t sit right with her.
She felt like they should be able to apply and work at any location, not just the one.
Others commented in agreement.
Others commented in agreement that H*****s shouldn’t discriminate based on body type and weight for hiring waitresses.
In fact, if they wanted to be “equal” they wouldn’t have separate locations for women based on body type at all.
However, many felt like this would prevent problems.
Many said while it sounds crazy, if the plus-size women did work alongside the slimmer ones, there would be a lot of hate, and even favoritism.
Can you imagine a customer trying to avoid a section in a restaurant just because a waitress is plus-size?
Another said that some people might hate on them for no reason at all.
To echo this, commenters said that customers will probably discriminate against plus-size women and also hate on them, too.
Who knows, maybe they’ll tip less or try to sit at another table and section.
Turns out, this was a costume between friends.
Although the TikTok went viral, many commenters said this was just a group of friends who were dressed up, maybe for Halloween, as there’s no legit “plus-size” special location for H*****s.
