Minter doesn’t like watching herself on screen

Speaking with the Daily Mail, the actress admitted she has only ever watched Home Alone once and didn’t even finish the whole thing.
She shared that she doesn’t like watching herself on-screen and that the first time she attended a Home Alone screening, she felt “quite sick.”
The model shared her experience

“I think I do get quite sick. I’ve actually only seen Home Alone – and I wouldn’t even say I saw it all the way through,” she shared.
“I remember I went to go and see Goodfellas, which came out right before I went to the screening of Home Alone,” Minter recalled.
Minter saw Goodfellas before Home Alone

The actress went to see Goodfellas, a movie in which Joe Pesci plays Tommy DeVito. He also played Harry Lyme in Home Alone.
Minter shared getting sick seeing the size of Pesci’s face on screen in comparison to how it was in real life.
She spoke about being at screenings

“I actually had to walk out of the theatre and get some air and stuff and then I remember with Home Alone it was the first screening I’d ever been to of something I was in and as soon as I saw my face, I burst into tears. And I’ve just never sat down and watched it again. I’ve seen bits and pieces, but I hate hearing my voice,” Minter continued.
Minter still has love for the movie

Despite disliking seeing herself on screen, Minter still has a lot of love for the Christmas classic, Home Alone.
She interacted with fans regarding the movie, recalling fond memories of the iconic kitchen scene being a “very long day of eating pizza.”
