Gwen Stefani is feeling sentimental!
The No Doubt singer took to Instagram to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her engagement with Blake Shelton .

First, let’s revisit some key moments of their love, shall we?
The pair first met on The Voice in 2014. At the time, they were both still married to their former partners.
This was fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, for Blake and Gavin Rossdale for Gwen.
Going through divorces at the same time allowed them to get closer.
“That’s kind of how our friendship and bond started, that day,” Shelton told Billboard .
“It went from that, to checking in on each other once a week through email — ‘This [expletive] happened to me, what happened to you?’ — to maybe three times a week.”
After much speculation, the pair confirmed they were a couple in November 2015.
Their love was filled with so many cute moments, like when Blake gifted Gwen a horse, or when she wore shoes with Blake’s face on it. Or any of the times they’ve collaborated musically together.
All of this led up to that fateful day of Blake’s proposal.
It happened after five years of dating in Oklahoma.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES,” Shelton shared the news, alongside a photo of them kissing.
Gwen shared the same picture on her Instagram, writing, “yes please!”
This special moment was recently commemorated a year later on Gwen’s Instagram.
“one year ago today?! October 17th 2020 we got engaged! @blakeshelton I love you! gx #how? #backtothefuture #slowdown,” she wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
The first post in the slide showcased a video of Stefani waving her ring around while Blake danced in the background.
“Look, we just got engaged!” she said with a big smile on her face. The second post looked to be snapped right after the proposal.
Gwen had her hands over her face as she cried tears of joy. Meanwhile, Blake sat beside her with his hands on her waist.
The third clip was an up-close view of her massive ring.
Jewelers have estimated that it’s a 6 to 9-carat round solitaire diamond worth around $500,000.

So many people took to the comments to share in the couple’s love.
“Thank you for sharing this sweet moment! My fav couple evs!!” one fan wrote. “Thanks for these, Gwen. You and Blake are darling together. And that ring is simply gorgeous!” added another.
A third was emotional. “This is so sweet. Made me cry. Especially the second photo,” they wrote.
Blake was praised for his taste in diamonds.

While it’s been a year since Shelton proposed, it’s only been three months since the pair got married on July 3.
They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. A chapel had been built specifically for the nuptials.
It was a very private affair with only close friends and family in attendance.
This included Stefani’s three sons — Kingston, 15, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 7 — from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale.
