Uh Oh! Blake Shelton Didn’t Recognize Iconic Gwen Stefani Lyrics

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are a couple that doesn't make much sense. He's a southern-born country singer with songs like "Boys 'Round Here" and "Ol' Red." Gwen Stefani is a punk princess, whose most popular hits include "Rich Girl" and "Hollaback Girl." Visually they couldn't be more different, yet somehow they've made it work.

However, it seems Blake may need to brush up on his Gwen trivia as he recently was unable to identify his bride's lyrics!

As we all know, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently tied the knot.

The ceremony was beautiful. The dress? Stunning. The location? Small and intimate. The easter eggs? A plenty.

However, it seems all this newlywed bliss may have gotten to Blake's head, as he recently forgot the lyrics to his wife's MOST POPULAR SONG.

If I were to ask you what the most iconic Gwen Stefani song is, what would you say?

Sure, "Rich Girl" is amazing, and "Cool" is a forever jam, it's safe to say "Hollaback Girl" cemented Gwen's stance as a pop princess.

If we all know this song, surely her hubby should too, right?!

WRONG!

While appearing fellow The Voice co-host Kelly Clarkson's show, Blake failed to recognize the chorus of "Hollaback Girl" during a game of "Throw Me a Line" — a game that involves guessing the lyrics from popular songs.

*The Voice* coaches were then given the lyric, "A few times I’ve been around that track, so it’s not just gonna happen like that" to which Blake was SILENT.

John Legend and Kelly were the first to guess that it was Gwen's hit 2004 song "Hollaback Girl" and went on to complete the lyric.

To make matters worse, Blake had previously guessed the lyrics to Kenny Loggins' ’"Footloose" in a matter of seconds.

It looks like Blake may have some explaining to do to his wife! How does he not know the lyrics to her most popular song?!
