If you find a random secret in the wild, on the other hand, it’s a totally different story. These secrets come with no strings attached, along with a (metaphorical) prize: the honor of being one of the few to find them.

Do they mean that, like, your hands are on the deck? Do they mean that the deck can make lots of different hands of cards? I need answers.

This comes off as so polite that it’s basically passive aggressive. Just tell me that I’m an idiot for looking at the wrong end and be done with it.
“This pepper grinder at a spice store had ‘gesundheit’ on the bottom.”
If you’re not the kind of person who says “gesundheit” after someone sneezes, you’d probably think it was just some German brand.
“A sign at my local grocery store which was slightly hidden with another sign. I see you.”
I know this was a store employee having fun, but I like to think that the labelmaker was expressing its existential angst.
“Got this cheap, bootleg Puma bag as a gift 10 years ago. Just discovered it has a random hidden Louis Tomlinson print inside one of the pouches.”
These are my favorite Easter eggs: the ones that make absolutely no sense. It would be a great keepsake for Louis Tomlinson fans who love Puma, though.

Are these elves or gnomes? It’s an important distinction, because gnomes are friendly and elves are mischievous little rascals.

Apparently this is a feature on some Vauxhall cars. Hyundai really ought to implement it on their Tiburon line, though.

Here’s another random car feature. Is this a warning that the car will eventually become infested with spiders? Only time will tell.

Once you notice this, the clackity clack of the moving train probably starts to sound more like wokka wokka .

I like this understated Mario that’s done up in the 8-bit style. Much more low-key than 3D Mario.

I would call this message helpful, but I think it’s giving out advice that nobody really needed in the first place. At least, you have to hope nobody needed it.

I don’t know if there’s any significance to this being outside the photography building or not. In any event, there isn’t much ice or carbonite in Arizona.

It’s a bit weird to bring up nose-picking in this context, but at least the message is trying to smooth over the situation using humor.
“My new hose sprayer has a smiley face stamped into the head.”
The other settings more or less show what they’ll do, so I’m immensely curious about what the smiley face setting does.
