Seat belts, everyone!
I can hear you now, reader: “Please let this be a normal foray into the beautiful last season of Game Of Thrones “.
With Jake Bean, no way!
Spoilers!

Alright, people, you know the drill. We need to talk about Season 8, Episode 5 in order for me to tell you about the cameo, so if it’s still collecting dust in your TIVO, then burn your laptop right now with dragonsfire.
Kind of like how King’s Landing was burned by Dany!

Haha, see that flawless transition? Truly, I am an amazing professional writer. That’s why I get paid the big bucks folks, and by the way, I’m still waiting on my Peabody award.
But seriously, what an episode.
According to some research done by CNN , we lost about a million people this episode! A million people!
Just to put that into perspective, that would be like if the entire population of Fiji suddenly disappeared.
I know!
Here were the important deaths, though:

We lost Varys and his spidery ways.
We lost Euron and his piratey ways.
We lost the Cleganes in a fight that won’t be forgotten.
We lost good old Qyburn, and his unorthodox methods.
And of course, we lost the Lannister twins.

Alexa, please play “My Heart Will Go On”.
Alexa : Of course, Jake
Thank you, Alexa.
Yes, it seems the biggest antagonist of the series and her brother were killed off… pretty unceremoniously in fact. People were not pleased.
But, as the song implies, we must go on.

So that we can talk about a cool cameo that we, of course, missed during the show. I mean, will all this death and destruction going around, who’s going to look out for hidden celebrities?
“Game Of Thrones” is known for having cool cameos

From Ed Sheeran to Mac from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia , it seems this season especially has been chalked full of secret appearances. Even the show’s creators made a quick cameo.
But last Sunday was all about football.
(As it should be)
Ahem. Or at least one football player who made an appearance. That’s right, Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared in Sunday’s episode of Game Of Thrones .
Where, oh where, was that Aaron Rodgers?

See that? In the middle of all the Golden Company?
My eyes aren’t what they use to be, but I’m pretty sure that’s one of the best quarterbacks in the world holding a bow.
Aaron warned us he’d be making an appearance.
Around the time Episode 2 came out, Aaron was being all mysterious as to the fact that he may, in fact, be showing up in one episode. Even including the hidden hastag: #episode5shouldbegood
Who knew he was a Lannister man?
I wonder if they gave him a choice as to who he would like to fight for… and if they did, then kudos on choosing the Lannisters, Aaron!
Sure they’re on the losing side, but it sure does feel good to be bad!
Could this affect the Packers’ season?

There’s no way, but then again, when your star quarterback is killed during the siege of King’s Landing, you may have some issues in the upcoming season.
Will Roger Goodell suspend Dany for four games and will house Targaryen lose its first round pick?
Is Aaron starting an acting career?
Could he be taking the path many athletes do after their careers have ended and is he going to start up a career in acting?
And if they wanted an actor quarterback…

Why not get good ol’ Tom Brady?
Or was he too good to just make a cameo, he needed a character, his own house and possibly a larger role in the scheme of things?
What do you think?

What’s the coolest cameo in the series so far? Do you think that they’re going to have any more in the last episode? My bet’s on George R. R. Martin making an appearance.
