Move over, Dr. Phil; there’s a new therapist in town and his name is Dr. Rock!
The Jumanji actor just laid out relationship advice that every couple in quarantine needs to hear.
When it comes to being in quarantine, some couples are thriving and some, well, are having some difficulty…
Take Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard , for example.
During a recent Instagram Live interview with Katie Couric, the longtime couple admitted to being “at each other’s throats” a lot.
“This has been stressful for mama and dada,” Shepard said before Bell admitted that, “We’ve been at each other’s throats, real bad.”

“This is as physically close as we’ve been in a couple of days ’cause we’ve just found each other revolting,” added The Good Place actress.
During the interview, Katie even caught Shepard getting on Bell’s nerves.

While off-camera, he started making random noises.
This caused the Frozen star to look baffled as she shook her head.
“Like, you have your little space and he has his little space,” Couric said, trying to play mediator.

“It’s impossible,” Kristen said, shaking her head.
“He’s too big, Katie. He’s too loud and too big. He’s everywhere,” she added.

Sounds like these two can’t wait for the quarantine to be over!
But that’s not to say that every celeb couple is struggling.
During a recent Q&A on Instagram (he’s been posting a lot of them lately to stay connected with fans), Dwayne Johnson said that being in isolation has actually helped strengthen his marriage.
The *Jumanji* star is married to Lauren Hashian, who he met in 2006.
The pair, who tied the knot last summer in Hawaii, have two children together: Tiana Gia, 2, and Jasmine Lia, 4.
“Helluva question!” Johnson wrote on Instagram, addressing this question: “The effect the quarantine has on my marriage.”

“@laurenhashianofficial and I are doing our best during these stressful times,” he began.
“We realized kinda quickly how critical it was for us to be ultra considerate, caring and empathetic of one another.”
“Be even better listeners. Even better communicators,” he added.
He went on to address how we’re not fully ourselves right now:
“Recognize that during these times, we’re not operating at full brain & emotional EQ capacity as we usually are.”
“This means that people are likely to do things like “get snippy, short tempered and you guys may erupt at each other over some silly [expletive] like we did.”

“When that happens, grab your partner by the shoulders, like I grabbed Lauren. Look them directly in the eyes and say with full conviction, “baby, you’re not wrong…. you’re just not used to being right.”
The actor joked, “and then count the seconds it takes for you both to belly laugh your [expletive] off.”

The actor then used his own brand of tequila as a way to promote more relationship bliss.
“Then sip some @teremana later that night and make some more babies. You’re welcome,” he added a wink before signing off with, “Stay healthy, my friends. Dr. Rock.”
In the accompanying video, the Rock got even more candid about his relationship with his wife.

“I gotta be honest with you, when this thing first started, the first two weeks of quarantine for me, I was really wobbly at times,” he said.
Back then, he was “consistently apologizing to Lauren about every other day.”
Thankfully, the couple, using the principles he laid out in his post, has found their footing.
“Now is the time to really try and do your best to communicate and articulate your feelings as best you can. Stay healthy and stay safe.”
