Who here loves to mix modern decor with stylish upcycled accents? I do, I do! If done correctly, this strategy can really elevate the look of your home.
I’m always impressed when I see people do this the right way. So let’s take a look at what I’m talking about here. These folks incorporated second-hand items into their home decor as if they were professionals.

How cool that somebody was able to transform this interesting wallboard into the coolest boho-inspired headboard? I have to admit I really love this look. I would totally do something like this in my bedroom. How about you?

What would you do if you found an old piece like this one? Would you just leave it behind? Well, this person definitely didn’t, and they turned it into an awesome mahogany TV stand. How wonderful is this?

Speaking of artwork, you don’t even have to buy any. This person spent a total of $1.99 for this vintage record and used it to display on a hanging shelf. Isn’t this such a clever idea?

It could be costly to change your decor based on the seasons. But it doesn’t have to be when you use upcycled items. This whole Thanksgiving table setting was set up using thrift store items.

I’m always so inspired by those who grab stuff from the thrift store only to turn them into items we can all adore. Case in point with this bedside table upcycle project here. They turned it into a piece they truly desired.

This piece is the perfect example that hitting an estate sale can be such a great idea. Somebody bought this vintage 1963 Drexel secretary from their Declaration line with perfectly working tambour doors. The cat loves it too, hee-hee!

If you’ve been looking for one amazing vintage piece to add to your decor, this might suffice. Not only is this radio vintage, but it’s the coolest-looking one I’ve seen in a while. It pairs perfectly with this thrifted horse figurine.

Who says you can’t create a cozy bedroom on a budget? Nobody, that’s who, ha, ha! This person pretty much thrifted most of the items here and made themselves the best little bedroom in their first apartment ever.

I tell you, I wish I had more time on my hands to undertake a few upcycling projects.
