10+ Times People Upcycled Old Furniture Into Epic Succulent Planters

When I get old, I'd like for people to call me a crazy plant lady, ha, ha. I know that might be wishful thinking since I have a bit of a "black thumb."

But until then, I will still try my hardest to keep all my plant babies alive. Perhaps I need to change how I display them and take a note from these folks.

Succulents are some of my favorite plant species.

There are so many of them to marvel at, no? I really need to add some to my small plant collection. But before I do, I thought it would be a good idea to get some planter inspiration.

Did you know that you can upcycle an old piece of furniture and turn it into a funky planter?

Wow, just searching online reveals a ton of cool ideas. So I thought it would be fun to share a few of them with you.

Somebody actually turned their old drawer into a funky planter like this one.

I have to admit I would never have thought of doing that. This is so neat. If you have space for it, then go to it.

Here's a subtle idea.

You can add a strip of succulents in the middle of your table. Doesn't this look so pretty or what? I really love this idea. The combination of wood and cute succulents is absolutely perfect here.

Now, this is a different take on a similar idea.

However, this one looks a lot more rustic if you asked me. It's almost as if this table is about to crack. I have to say it's a pretty cool concept.

Oh my goodness, who knew you could create a masterpiece like this one? I can't get over how big these succulents grew here. This chair is just like a work of art. Don't you think so?

If you're looking for a showstopping coffee table, look no further than this one.

I love the fact that it's fully functional on the top and a display case on the bottom. What a fantastic way to show off your love of plants, huh?

Why not turn an old chest into the best succulent planter?

I would totally do this if I had a cool wooden suitcase like this one. Hmm, perhaps I can find one at a thrift store and upcycle it like this.

How about this for a weird idea?

Turn an old bathtub into a retro outdoor succulent planter. Heck, the plants seem to enjoy it. It might seem like an odd choice, but I think it's so interesting. I would consider doing it.

Here's another really cool succulent coffee table idea.

This is starting to "grow" on me, ha, ha. I would totally consider getting a table like this to accent a corner in my living room. I think it would look great there.

This person even turned an entire bed frame into a succulent planter.

Isn't that incredible, huh? If I had an old brass bed frame, I would definitely consider doing this too. I wonder how it would look in our backyard.

I'm blown away by this whole scene here. This is something really cool you can even set up on a balcony. Or you can create a space like this in your backyard. Either way, it will look fantastic.
