If you own a cat , you know how mysterious a creature they are. Cats are always mesmerized by things. How many times have you seen your pet starring at the abyss, wondering just what they are looking at, huh? I admit that’s happened to me a lot, ha, ha.
So I was pleasantly surprised to see this woman create something truly magnificent for her feline friend. Check it out, and I’m sure you will be in awe of it, too.
Let me ask you something:
Have you ever done something special to spoil your cat? I have seen people create unique cat trees or window seats. You name it — they have done it. Well, I think you’re really going to get a kick out of this story. It’s seriously the cutest thing ever.
But I’ll admit I haven’t seen anything like this before.
Melissa Krieger, who owns a cat named Jasper, noticed his interest in watching her fish in a tank. She had the tank for about 15 years, and her four cats seem to like it a lot. They even put a chair next to the tank so the cats can watch the fish.
But then an idea came to her.
Why not design a tank that will give the cats an immersive experience while they watch the fish? Oh my gosh, that sounds amazing to me. So Melissa got a Cincinnati-based store called Aquatics and Exotics to design one for them.
Here’s what makes this tank special.
It has a cubical window, and once the cat slips under it, the aquarium can be observed with a 360-degree view through a small cube. Wow! Isn’t that such an amazing idea or what? I would never have thought of that.

This is exactly what it looks like when the cat is inside the cube looking up at the fish, ha, ha. Apparently, it took about a month for Jasper to get curious enough to try it out. That clever feline, huh?

After Melissa posted a video of Jasper in the fish tank, it went viral on TikTok.
I’m definitely not surprised by that. After all, who wouldn’t enjoy watching something like this, huh? I wonder what the fish think of this little intrusion, though?
I’m also not surprised by the comments of other cat owners.
It seems that they want their own fish aquariums like this one for their cats to enjoy. Or maybe it’s just the cats that are demanding it now, ha, ha. I wouldn’t put it past them after all.
