It was the most infamous in the ‘70s
It seems that the mansion was also a common destination for celebrities and media personalities alike back in 1974.
Back then, Cher ran into John Lennon and Harry Nilsson at a restaurant in Los Angeles. They told her that they had always wanted to see the mansion.

She took the pair with her
As both Lennon and Nilsson really wanted to see the infamous building, Cher agreed to take them with her to the movie night.
She said they were “drunker than I thought”, something she noticed on the drive there.

She said it was a wild night
As she relayed this story to The Mirror, Cher called the situation “not pretty”, saying that Lennon and Nilsson had joked about running around without their clothes for the rest of the night.
She recalled the story as a funny one, saying that the pair were too drunk.
