Being a famous actor in a movie or TV show seems like it would be everyone’s dream job, and that everyone involved would work in perfect harmony. What could the rich and famous possibly have to complain about, right? Wrong!
There have been plenty of instances in show business when one fellow actor, or even director, is getting on someone’s nerves enough to push them to quit, or try to be fired.

Before even filming Mel Gibson’s movie, Berserker , audio tapes of a recorded conversation with Mel and his girlfriend were leaked.
He, among other things —admitted to hitting his girlfriend and threatened her multiple times, saying he’d burn down her house.
Understandably, Leo wanted no part in the movie after that.
Being the great guy that he is, Leo knew that he couldn’t affiliate himself with Mel, going forward, and quit the movie before it could even begin.
Christopher Abbott left “Girls” because he didn’t click with Lena Dunham.
Chris opened up about why he left the HBO series Girls , saying that he didn’t feel like Lena Dunham’s writing was realistic or relatable for him.
Taylor Momsen left “Gossip Girl” after being called out for being a diva.
Taylor Momsen, who played Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl , allegedly quit the show because fellow costars were complaining that she was a pain to work with.
Project Runway’s Tim Gunn called out Taylor, after guest-starring on the show.
“I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?” he said .

Janet Hubert left “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” because of Will Smith.
In the first three seasons of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air , Aunt Viv was played by Janet Hubert.
Upon leaving the show, she called Will Smith the “antichrist” and “a snotty-nosed punk .”
Saying that she wanted the comedy to be “The Aunt Viv of Bel Air Show” because she had been in the biz longer, and deserved it.
Will Smith went on to have one of the most impressive acting careers of all time. So, joke’s on you, Janet!
The “snotty-nosed punk” made it pretty far.
Stana Katic allegedly left “Castle” because she was being bullied by her costar, Nathan Fillion.
Stana left the show Castle , which was later canceled, because of her ongoing feud with her costar, Nathan Fillion.
A source told US Weekly “Stana and Nathan completely despise each other,” adding: “They will not speak when they are off set, and this has been going on for seasons now.”
Kim Cattrall refused to be apart of the third “Sex And The City” movie because of her ongoing feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.
Considering how poorly Sex And The City 2 was received, I’m surprised there was ever even talk of a third! Maybe it was all for the best.
Richard Gere got fired from the film “The Lords of Flatbush” for not getting along with Sylvester Stallone.
Allegedly the two had a ton of friction on set , and just couldn’t seem to click.
Joan Crawford admitted herself into the hospital to get out of her contract for the miniseries: “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”
Bette Davis and Joan Crawford were costars on the show, but after Bette Davis and the director were rumored to be sleeping together, causing Joan to feel forgotten about, she wanted out .
Naya Rivera was fed up with Lea Michele on “Glee.”
Although Naya didn’t actually end up quitting Glee, because it ended just in time.
Her feud with Lea Michele was just starting to come to a boil.
According to Naya, the two didn’t speak to each other at all during the final season.
Lucky for Naya, the show aired its final episode back in 2015.
The show came to an end before should could actually quit, working out in her favor.
Her days of working alongside Lea Michele, are now long over.
Shannen Doherty was fired from “Beverly Hills 90210” for being difficult to work with, and not getting along with the other actresses on set.
Costar, Tori Spelling, particularly found Shannen’s diva tendencies to be annoying.
She requested that her father, the show’s director, have Shannen’s character, Brenda, written off the show .
After Shannen was written off of the show, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen joined the “Beverly Hills 90210” cast.
Coincidentally (or maybe not), Tiffani-Amber Theissen had some a very similar look to Shannen, even though she was playing an entirely new character, Valerie.
Bill Murray allegedly turned down his role in the “Charlie’s Angels” sequel due to his feud with Lucy Liu.
“You can’t act” Bill allegedly said to Lucy, on set, resulting in Lucy attacking Bill, and having to be physically pulled apart .
While this story hasn’t been exactly confirmed , Bill was not apart of the Charlie’s Angels sequel.
Whether or not that story is in fact true, the second “Charlie’s Angels” movie “Full Throttle” was still made.
In the end, Bill Murray was replaced by Bernie Mac, who did an excellent job portraying Bosley .
Katherine Heigl left “Grey’s Anatomy” due to a feud between her and Isaiah Washington.
Isaiah Washington, who played Dr. Preston Burke, was overheard using homophobic slurs , directed at T.R Knight, who played George O’Malley.
This, as well as her fued with the show’s writers, caused Katherine to quit the show, as well as Isaiah.
Nine Native American extras of the film “The Ridiculous 6” walked off set while filming.
Allegedly, Adam Sandler’s movie script for The Ridiculous 6 crossed some serious lines, making inappropriate and racist jokes about Native American women.
“I told the director if he had talked to a native woman the way they were talked to in this movie — I said I would knock his [expletive] out.” said one of the extras.
The movie ended up receiving horrible ratings. I guess karma really does exist.
According to Rotten Tomatoes , only 32% of the people who watched this movie actually liked it.

Jessica Alba didn’t have a problem with another actor, but instead, with the director.
During a scene, the director told Jessica her crying looked “too real,” requested that she cry prettier, and said that tears could be added using CGI.
Ultimately, after filming this movie, Jessica said she wanted to quit acting altogether.
Ryan Gosling wasn’t Rachel McAdam’s biggest fan.
The director of The Notebook revealed that initially, Ryan tried to have Rachel fired from the film, claiming they didn’t have any on-set chemistry.
