Some things in life are so everyday and common that we don't think twice about their origins or where they come from. L.A. has all of its traffic lights synced up completely.

Turns out, dolphins aren't the only smart sea creatures out there. Reddit user u/umartin404 shares that octopuses are very intelligent. They are actually capable of "solving complex puzzles, using tools, escaping captivity, and planning ahead in the future." That's impressive!

One dad went above and beyond for his daughter.

Kids drown more often than you would imagine. And, when you think about "drowning" or see it in films, it's very distinct. Turns out, it's not like that in real life.

Female dogs can get pregnant WHILE pregnant.

Reddit user u/alhaddah shared that female dogs in heat can get pregnant multiple times, even if they had already gotten pregnant from another male dog. That means they can have a litter of puppies with dogs from multiple fathers—mixed breeds.

Ronald McDonald was "phased out."

Reddit user u/SweetTeaRex92 shared why we never see Ronald McDonald around anymore. Turns out, the company "phased him out" during the 2016 craze when people were dressing up and walking around as "murder clowns." No one wanted to see a clown after that.
