It is SO easy to get caught up in the baby craziness because of family. ‘Oh but then they’d grow up with their cousins.’ ‘Aren’t you worried about being OLD?’ ‘Well I hope I’m still around by the time they are.’ My boyfriend and I are at that stage where our families have been at us for having kids since we’re the last in both families. We got caught up in it and went through a baby craze, but after a 5 or 6 months it passed. The no contact with family because of covid helped too. Although we want children, both of us are happy we didn’t end up pregnant. There’s still so much to prepare and save for, plus we’re happy being delinquents for a few more years.”
