“Damn haha she is in for a RUDE awakening when she realizes she actually has to seek out alternative childcare. Finding trustworthy, qualified, reliable babysitters (with daytime availability to boot!) is harrrd…and so expensive. It sounds like you already know this but $10 is like…mid-90s babysitting money. Also you have to provide meals for them lol. This all kind of blows my mind – as the only one of my siblings who has kids I wouldn’t dream of asking any of them to watch my kids more than once in a blue moon (and always feel so lucky / a bit guilty when they volunteer to).
