Shaving your legs seems pretty straightforward, right? We learned from our parents or our siblings, maybe even our friends or a TV show as a kid, how to shave our legs.
Once we hit puberty and saw that those thick black hairs were coming in, we picked up our first razor and never went back.
Most people shave their legs a very specific way.
For the most part, women tend to shave their legs by going from the bottom of their legs up, shaving upwards.
When they finish a stroke, they lift their razor up and begin again in a different area. A pretty simple process, right?
As it turns out, there’s a much easier and more effective way to shave.
Thanks to TikTok user Laura Henderson , there is a better way that we can be shaving our legs.
According to her video, which has now gone viral, this new method will make it quicker and prevent you from missing spots and cutting yourself all sorts of ways.
Henderson showcases that shaving upwards is still fine.
But, the biggest difference in the way she shaves and the way we usually do is that she doesn’t lift her razor up at all.
In fact, she goes upwards, and then back downwards again. The entire time, she doesn’t lift her razor off her leg at all.
She said she not only saves time, but makes it easier.
Henderson shares in her video that shaving takes way less time and also, she is able to shave the annoying knee area without any issues or problems.
Since shaving this way, she hasn’t once cut her legs or bled at all.
People online have even tried it for themselves.
Many say that after seeing this on TikTok, they have changed the way that they shave completely.
They all agree, too, that they have no more bumps, cuts, and their razor lasts much longer than the other way we usually do.
Others said they have tried it and agree, too.
There were dozens of TikTok users commenting on the post, saying that it absolutely does work and they swear by the fact that there is nothing but “smooth legs.”
We can’t help but want to try this ourselves, now too.
